Ninety days of simple things done consistently — time with God, care for your body, real investment in people, self-control, sleep, and keeping your word to yourself. Scored weekly. Raced monthly. Finished together at Thanksgiving.
C9 isn't about doing more. It's about becoming the kind of person who consistently does what matters.
Build the habits. Open the app, mark what you did, leave. Twenty seconds.
Win the Week. 50 points on the table every Friday–Thursday. Lock your score by Saturday night for +3. A perfect week earns +1 more.
Three fresh races. Your monthly score resets to zero each month — your Overall never does. A bad September can't touch your October.
Every point from Day 1 still counts toward the one standing that never resets — the race for the Great Turkey.
+3 bonus a week — all or nothing.
One additional intentional Connection each week, photo posted to the GroupMe.
Double the Christ requirement on all five days — 30 minutes with God instead of 15.
One long-mile day each week: 2, then 3, then 4, then 5 miles — building straight into the Turkey Trot.
Monthly champions earn no extra points. They earn something far less reasonable.
At the next church prayer gathering, the champion may wear the regalia — or bestow it upon another C9 participant. Everyone agrees to this before entering. There is no appeal process.
Thanksgiving morning, November 26. Every participant registers for the Raleigh Turkey Trot when they join — the race is the finish line of the whole challenge.
By Thanksgiving, the goal isn’t just to have more points. It’s to be closer to God, healthier, better rested, more present with the people you love — and a little more capable of doing what you said you would do.
Each participant puts in $25 — it funds the prizes and gets you a Great Turkey Challenge 2026 T-shirt. You separately pay your own Raleigh Turkey Trot registration.
